Tella was our show girl.
By the time she was 18 mos.she had racked up many show wins. Her show wins were too numerous to mention here.
She finished quickly in Canada with BOB over Specials and Group placings. She was Best of Breed at the very first Northern Ontario Boxer Club Specialty. Her first trip to the US resulted in a Grand Sweepstakes win and a Best of Winners at the Boxer Club of Western New York Specialty for a 3 point major. Tella defeated the most number of Boxers at the breed level for a female in 1995. She is always owner handled and was bred by Larry, Beckie and Kay Horne of St George, S.C.
Tella has now produced her first litter sired by her kennel mate Can Ch Bellcrest Worth the Wait. It appears at this time that she will be as good in the whelping box as she is in the show ring. Tella is a winner. We are proud to own such a beautiful girl.
Tella second litter by Ridge, Can Ch Bellcrest Worth the Wait. was born July 17, 1998. We kept a plain brindle girl from this litter. Her name is Mardi (Bellcrest Exclusively Yours) Mardi now has her own page, you can see her here.
We are extremely pleased with Mardi's brother Chamo. He is coming along nicely, he has 6 points towards his Canadian Championship todate. Chamo is owned by Roberto Acosto and family. Visit Chamo at his first Sanction match here.

Tella is pictured on the right being shown for the first time as a Veteran at the Northern Ontario Boxer Club Specialty. She won Best of Opposite sex from the Veteran Class. Once a show dog, always a show dog.
Tella showed the first signs of DM (degenerative mylopia) at the BCC Specialty June 2002. With the passing of time she got progressively worse. We made the decision to end her struggle and send her on to the rainbow bridge to wait for us on July 5, 2003. Not an easy decision but one we owed to her because we loved her and she knew we would do what was best for her. When you love them, set them free.
